From: Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School, To: Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Re: Cancelation of Federal student loan debt, Date: 9/14/20

Various members of the Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School sent a letter to Senator Elizabeth Warren on 9/14/20.. The letter stated that the Senator's proposal that the President of the U.S. could direct the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education to exercise his or her exising authority to cancel federal student loan debt on a broad categorical basis, would be a lawful and permissible exercise on the Secretary's authority under existing law.
