In April 2020, Pima County instituted mandatory temperature checks/wellness screening for all persons entering an indoor Pima County facility. This program was memorialized in Administrative Procedure (AP) 23-54, Temporary Wellness Checks to Safeguard the Workplace During Novel Coronavirus Outbreak.
